Many of you are viewing failure through the wrong lens. While on the other hand, many avoid it completely. All of these are an immense mistake. Many individuals have never failed in academics, sports, or in life. Why? Because they are afraid to fail. Unfortunately, that strategy neglects failure which avoids growth. In other words, the path to success. I completely understand failure does not give us a good feeling, but you know it is a fantastic learning curve. Failure offers lessons. Failure contributes to the learning process. So, every time you fail, just remember you are still in the learning process. How many of you ever differentiated successful and failure individuals? Without any delays, let’s dive into today’s topic. Successful people had a developing growth mindset. They don’t see failure as a negative thing. That is why they entered the success platform. Okay, you don’t have to take my words. Just look at the lightbulb. Did you see it? Ya right. Today, we know what is a lightbulb is because of Thomas Edison's developing growth mindset. He failed a hundred times before he was able to beautifully lighten up the light. Similarly, we should get up after every failure. We should have the courage to step back to the road again till we find our true destination of success. When you start accepting failure, remember you are out of your comfort zone which is awesome. But if you still don’t have the courage to accept failure, you will never succeed. Failure is not the direct opposite of success. It is an integral part of success.
Like I previously said, when we face failure we feel frustrated. Failure is bitter, but its fruit is very sweet. When you fail, view that as a new and fresh opportunity to try again with your full energy. Remember these questions each time you get up from failures. How could I have done better? What skills do I need to improve? What are the steps I need to take to get there? The answer to these questions is the lesson you invested from this failure. Wait, let me rephrase failure as a new way to try again. Rather it is a new opportunity to grow and move in a new direction that is better than expected. From now on, view failure as your teacher. It does not only teach you the lesson to get up and move on toward your success journey. Additionally, it teaches you that there is no such thing as perfection. Then we are willing to take more risk and ready to embrace failure rather than hiding away from it. We get a burst of motivation and strength to try again and again until we get the outcome which is mapped out.
