Who is your inspiration? My Inspiration....

Countless prestigious people have touched my heart throughout the journey of my life. My lovable mom, Barack Obama and even my 2nd-grade teacher has inspired me immensely. Similarly, many might have touched your life as well but only a few might have left remarkable inspirations on you. The missile man of India, A. P. J. Kalam has managed to occupy the boundless space in my heart and this is the person, I am greatly inspired by.

From an unprivileged family background, he went beyond the people who are from wealthy families both academically and politically. As an average student, A. P. J. Kalam excelled in his studies through his self-motivation and perseverance. As a son of boat owner and housewife, he earned the title of prominent scientists and politicians, he was biologically given the name as Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. As stated by Shikha Goyal, he was born and raised in Rameswaram, India.

Kalam was not the top student during his school, but he had a strong desire to learn and gain more knowledge. He spent more hours on his studies compared to other activities. Mathematics was his favorite subject. He will start his study routine from early morning 4 am to late night at 11 pm. He was the first one who woke up and the last one who went to bed in his family. Not only he was a scientist, but he was also a teacher, author, president, and recipient of several prestigious awards. He earned his Aeronautical Engineering degree from Madras Institute of Technology, India. Then he joined the Defense Research and Development Organization. He also joined the Indian Space Research Organization. He played an important role in India’s missile and nuclear weapons programs.

According to Britannia site, he served as the President of India from 2002 to 2007. He guided and motivated youngsters through his writing. His mentionable books are Vision 2020, Wings of Fire, and Ignited Minds. Among his numerous awards, he received two of the country’s highest honors, the Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna. To touch your heart, they can be either celebrity, athlete, musician, or scientist. The public figure is increasingly rising each day. But for me, since childhood days, APJ Kalam is still occupying the top place as my inspirer. Despite having bad financial condition, Kalam led himself as one of the top positions in India. His works are uncountable. Kalam took his final breath in Shillong, Meghalaya. His body was brought to his hometown Rameswaram, where I had the opportunity to attend his funeral ceremony. “Man needs difficulties in life because they are necessary to enjoy the success,” says my role model Kalam.
