All of us could speak a language right? Obviously, all of us can, even my baby brother. He can speak a language called baby talk. I can speak two languages English and Fluent, Fluent Baby Talk. I'm better than you when it comes to talking like a baby right? I can understand what my baby brothers say and I can speak back to him and he can talk to me. We are just basically having a conversation and a language then not many people can understand right? You can’t even. Most adults don't know how to understand baby talk, the only words they know how to say are Googoo gaga, baa baa baa. Okay, A foreign language is a language not widely spoken and used by the people of a community/society/nation. For example, Spanish is a foreign language in Canada, that's a foreign language., It's just a small group of people. When I first came to America I thought that everyone in America only speaks English and everyone in China can speak only Chinese, but I learned that everybody could speak a language in America it can't be like that. Not everyone speaks English, people can speak many many languages like Chinese, Japanese, Urdu. I really wish there's an Antarctica language. Hmm, it can be confusing to have to speak Antarctica. Okay, a foreign language is something that all of us can learn, people like me want to learn a new language so we can talk to more people. People who are lazy, who just don't want to talk fluently to the person. They just say hey Google can you translate this? or get a friend of theirs who speaks English and another language or the language that you speak and another language another person speaks. Okay, There are roughly 6,500 spoken languages in the world today. However, about 2,000 of those languages have fewer than 1,000 speakers. The more languages you know, the more people you meet to actually have more conversations. Hospitals really need someone that can speak at least more than two languages because not many nurses or doctors can speak to the patient that can just usually speak their own language. If the patient knows how to speak that language or they can just use English. Most people use a translator or a nurse who can know more of the languages. Also if you know more languages it means you have a wide range of job opportunities because almost every company needs to have a translator who is a good speaker, who can translate and even talk in the same language. Say for example say I'm working in a company and my boss can speak only Chinese, for me I don't know how to speak Chinese so I get a friend who has a wide opportunity of jobs he will be translating my words to my boss then all that's good but once I learned that language I can have a more job opportunity, more money right? All of us should learn at least one or two languages right? Mostly English, baby talk. Yeah, all of you have to learn baby talk. Thank you.
