All of us have dreams of having high positions in our jobs in the future like being president (Me) Being a police officer, fireman and so on. The other day I found a video on youtube showing jobs that people have never heard of before, basically, hotels hire people to sleep in the beds they are going to have for people who are going to live there. They test the people who sleep in it and I think about a year is about 300,000 dollars! I bet all of you want to go to that easy job? Am I right? Anyways some people go above boundaries and go to things not many people do.
We are going to dive into that.
Hello everyone, my name is Abdul Jabbar, the motivational speaker. In today’s motivational talk, we are covering the topic of Going beyond boundaries.
In the 21st century, teachers ask every student, what do they want to be when they grow up. The answers of the students are a doctor, engineer, lawyer filled up the answer box. During the 80s, the same question was raised among students. The same response came from the student like how we answer today. But, listen to this point carefully, there was one guy who told his teacher that he wants to be a horse rider. The teacher was much similar to the teacher of the 21st century. He was not happy with the answer so he told him to bring his parent. The small guy went home and explained what happened at school. His mom confirmed if he really wants to be a horse rider. The next day, the mom came to the school. There was one frame in his teacher’s office. Let me explain to you all what was on the picture. Arjunan and Krishnan were one of the heroes of the Indian epic the Mahabharata. Both of the individuals were in the picture. Arjunan was sitting on the back and Krishnan was riding the horse. His mom pointed to the picture and told his son you can be a horse rider but be like Krishnan. Go beyond boundaries like how Krishnan did. The student who aimed to become a horse rider was the spiritual leader and reformer of India, Swami Vivekananda.
What we take out from this story is very important, folks. One’s dream does not have to be matched with others. Go higher in your own personalized interest and reach that accurate destination. Whatever you want to be, you will be that, not today but, definitely, tomorrow my dear friends.
Signing off on MaJTube. See you all soon at our next motivational talk. Take care.
