Original is better than the copy

 

When you hear the sentence “The original is better than the copy” what do you think of? Do you think about movies that have spin-offs or ripoffs? Or Do you think about books, of how the first one was created then it is copied to create many more? We are going to dive into that. 

Hello everyone, my name is Abdul Jabbar, the motivational speaker. In today’s motivational talk, we are covering the topic of the original is better than a copy.

Give yourself an honest answer to the question I am going to ask in a minute or so. Are you being true to yourself or to the expectations of others around you? Simple answer, I can guarantee that more than 90 percent of you answered, I make sure all my actions and dreams meet the expectations of everyone. I am not happy with this answer. Let me give you a real-life example. You are going to the store to buy chips. What do you do? You will search for your favorite original brands like Lays, Doritos, and so on. Why can’t you buy the same brand as your neighbor or your friend or your community? Why not? Eat the same brand. Just for the chips, you guys will not adopt the same brand as others. Then why are you all forgetting originality in your life and following behind someone’s path? Don’t measure your worth against someone. Your value is worth, being an original, then a copy. We should accept our differences and celebrate the uniqueness. You are the owner of your life, be true to your dreams, create the happiness you deserve, live your life without any regrets. Don’t participate in the marathon of million individuals, create your own road and run steadily. Your competitor is the person you see in the mirror, not the person next to you, or the person near you, or the person across you. It is only YOU. Conformity, conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth, John F. Kennedy. To a certain measure, conforming to social expectations is something we do traditionally out of habit. Conformity is ingrained in our brains. Your freedom is gone. You are de/vitalizing your own growth. From now on, follow this remedy to grow and excel beyond boundaries. Be the individual, in this world full of copies. It is one of the best and fullest way to find your success. You are more likely to succeed faster if you love what you are doing. Otherwise, the success destination is very hard to reach in the time frame of your life. You are capable enough to take control of your life. You are the master of your life.
